MOSAIC RINGS 2015

These 6 rings are my entry in the 2015 Fingers Jewellery Annual Group exhibition.

After my 'Afghan Remnant' rings earlier this year
when I glued up broken lapis lazuli shards
with gold dust, here I take small pieces
and make ancient structures, or brick-in a window.

Treetrunk rings
Wood-fired silver Treetrunk rings are my unique
wood-fired silver rings. 15 to 20 grams of silver goes into each
ring. They're made using a simple process: I melt up the metal and
pour molten silver into a prepared hole in a tree trunk. Don't try
this at home. Each ring comes out different. They have a smooth
satin finish, are softly shaped and chunky, and are nice to wear.
Let me know if you want one.
